TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

1. Scope of Custom Work

A “custom instrument” is designed and built within the maker’s established designs, techniques, and aesthetic direction. This is not a client-designed product.

2. Maker’s Discretion

The maker retains full discretion to refuse or modify any requested feature, material, or decoration that conflicts with structural integrity, tonal objectives, feasibility, or artistic direction.

3. Specifications & Changes

Specifications agreed at the start form the basis of the commission. Any changes requested thereafter are subject to approval and may affect price and delivery time.

4. Pricing & Deposit

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure a commission and begin work. The deposit is credited toward the final price. Work commenced is not refundable.

5. Payment of Balance

The remaining balance is due prior to shipment or delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Timeline

Build times are estimates only and not guaranteed.

7. Acceptance

The instrument is deemed accepted upon delivery, subject to the warranty terms below.

8. Warranty

A limited seven (7) year warranty is issued with every instrument made by the maker.
This warranty applies only to the original owner and remains valid only while the maker is actively operating as a guitar maker.

The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

It does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, mishandling, accidents, unauthorized repairs or modifications, exposure to unsuitable environmental conditions, or improper storage.

9. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of French courts.
